Memory Verse

And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

Hebrews 11:6 (NLT)

Day 1

And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

Hebrews 11:6 (NLT)

It all starts with a belief that God exists and that you are made right with Him through Jesus’s death and resurrection. With this comes a personal relationship with God. You are known by God and he can then use you for his purposes. Thank Him for this relationship and ask him to show you where He wants to lead you.

  • Since God exists… How can this premise help you work through a current situation?
  • Do you feel He is leading you to do something more than you want to consider?
  • Identify the most meaningful word from God today
  • Reword that into a prayer.
  • How will you actively respond?

Day 2

“Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give into temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak.”

Mark 14:38 (NLT)

When you step out to follow God, Satan will try to derail those plans. He can attack you physically, mentally, emotionally. He works to sow seeds of doubt and fear. He creates the crisis. Combat him with the Word of God and pray to the Spirit often and in all occasions. God will be faithful.
What do your doubts and excuses reveal about the struggle between your spirit and your human nature?
How can you keep watch and pray over these concerns?
Identify the most meaningful word from God today
Reword that into a prayer.
How will you actively respond?

Day 3

This command I am giving you today is not too difficult for you, and it is not beyond your reach.
Deuteronomy 30:11 (NLT)

You may think the plan God has for you is too hard. It’s not if you lean on his strength and not your own. The Bible is full of stories of people who doubt their own abilities, but God uses them in mighty ways anyway. Read Hebrews Chapter 11 to reassure you and inspire you.

  • How has God encouraged you today?
  • Identify the most meaningful word from God today
  • Reword that into a prayer.
  • How will you actively respond?

Day 4

The father instantly cried out, “I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!”
Mark 9:24 (NLT)

God is not trying to see if you are worthy enough when the crisis in faith comes. Instead, he wants you to lean on Him. “Since God cares for you, let him carry all your burdens and worries”. 1 Peter 5:7.

  • What doubts do you have about God’s ability to do what he says he will do?
  • What is one burden you can give to him today?
  • Identify the most meaningful word from God today
  • Reword that into a prayer.
  • How will you actively respond?

Day 5

God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful.
1 Thessalonians 5:24 (NLT)

The “this” in verse 24 is becoming holy and blameless. How can we do this? We can’t do it, but God can through the free gift of forgiveness, through faith in his Son, Jesus, through the transforming power of the Holy Spirit working in our hearts. As God reveals the plan he has for your life, count on him and not your own strength.

  • What looks impossible in the plan God is revealing to you?
  • Review God’s faithfulness in your past. How does this give you confidence to step into the call he has given you?
  • Identify the most meaningful word from God today
  • Reword that into a prayer.
  • How will you actively respond?
