Trinity Green Trails is our second worship site that opened in 2010. At Green Trails you’ll enjoy the company of friendly people who are not perfect, who have questions, doubts, and are seeking to follow Jesus. Trinity is casual where you will feel comfortable showing up just as you are. We have great live contemporary music in a relaxed, fun, and welcoming environment. If you are looking for a place to explore Christianity, learn what it means to follow Jesus and grow in your faith, Trinity Green Trails will be just right for you. Let us help you explore the essential values that are foundational to your faith:
Participate in a weekly gathering to give thanks, receive the Lord’s Supper, and experience the life-changing power of the Bible. Find more information on what it’s like worship at Trinity Green Trails below or contact Pastor Tony Dieckmann.
Connect in Christ-centered community with others as a member of a Small Group. Our spring semester has already started. For more information about how to get connected to our summer small group semester, contact Pastor Dan Grissom.
Show Jesus to others by giving yourself in service. Serving at Trinity is a great way to use your gifts and get to know others! We encourage everyone to be a part of a team. Serving is a huge part of who we are, and we believe that serving can help us grow spiritually. Explore opportunities to serve by attending our next serving orientation meeting. Contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Randy Lohmeyer for more information.
We are committed to helping equip and support families as they raise children to follow Jesus. During both our services on Sunday we offer Kidstreet children’s programming for birth through 5th grade. Our Kidstreet Coordinator is Brenda Sullivan.
About Trinity Green Trails
We don’t meet in a building that looks like a church. We meet in a beautifully remodeled space which used to be a drugstore and video store. Why? We built Green Trails to give as a gift to the community. We operate as Grounds for Hope Cafe throughout the week. Our Cafe and Kidstreet play area, host over 45,000 visits from the community every year! This unique use of our church building is an opportunity to bring the church to the community and the community to the church, giving us a chance to provide guests a taste of God’s love and grace through a warm and inviting place to gather, delicious food and drink and life-changing conversation. For more information and hours of operations, please visit groundsforhopecafe.org. The Grounds for Hope Cafe Director is, Melanie Lohmeyer.
Worship at Trinity Green Trails
What happens when I arrive?
As you enter our building, you will notice you’ll see our greeters with name tags pointing the way to the worship service or Kidstreet (at 9 and 10:45 on Sunday) if you have children. Feel free to wear whatever you feel most comfortable in, whether a t-shirt and jeans or a button-down and slacks. Grab a cup of free coffee or another beverage at our café in the lobby. We’ll have a countdown timer on the TV’s as the service is about to begin.
As you enter the auditorium, ushers will be available to answer any questions, hand you a Sermon Notes Card and Connect Card and find you the best seat available. While you wait, feel free to enjoy the music, read about upcoming events up on the screens, and share as much information as you feel comfortable on your Connect Card. The Connect Card is an excellent way to share your worship experience with us, including your prayer requests, or other information requests. We promise to respect your privacy with all information provided. First-time guests receive a $5 Cafe gift card when you drop off your card at the Connecting Point Desk.
What is the service like?
Each service is about 70 minutes. The first 15 minutes of the service you’ll get to enjoy some worship music led by our Worship Arts Team. We’ll have the words to each song up on the screen, so you can sing as much as you feel comfortable. The worship music is current, ranging from modern hymns to contemporary worship songs, and we aim for genuine, non-hyped, heartfelt responses to the Living God.
After a short welcome and some announcements, we’ll open the Bible together to explore God’s truth for our lives. Each message is 25-30 minutes long and takes eternal Biblical principles and applies them to your life in some very real and practical ways. And we’ll give you message notes with all of the Bible verses we will be reading and a pen so you can take notes, and review what you learned later in the week. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper or Baptism every week.
We encourage you to hang around and meet some people after the service! Drop by our Connecting Point Desk, we would love a chance to meet you and answer any questions you might have about our church.
If you have questions about our services, please contact Pastor Tony Dieckmann.
What about my kids?
Kidstreet will be an awesome hour of your kid’s week! All children–from birth to 5th grade–are invited to join us in a fun, safe, clean, interactive environment where our team of trained volunteers creates an environment your child will want to come back to every week! We focus on helping children learn the basics of the Bible and what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
We also have a Family Room adjacent to the auditorium. From the Family Room, you can see and hear the worship service while meeting the needs of your child. Ask an usher if you have questions.
Any other questions?
Was there something we forgot? Please email Pastor Dan Grissom. We hope to see you soon!
